Tests Mandated by Key Governing Bodies

MFMA© PUR © – The performance standards developed by the MFMA© include force reduction, vertical deformation, vertical ball rebound, area deflection, and friction from above standards. Tests are relevant in the lab and field

FIBA© – ASET is a FIBA© accredited lab and performs tests on a variety of products according to the guidelines established by FIBA. Those tests include tests for the sport surface, backboard support, rim, net and other key features.

FIFA© – While ASET is not a FIFA© accredited lab, we have the equipment to perform all of the field tests required by FIFA for 1 and 2 star field commission testing. Our equipment and methods are routinely compared to other labs around the world through participation in round robin test studies. We offer North American facilities that do not require official FIFA© certification alternatives for commission and maintenance testing.

IAAF© – While ASET is not an IAAF© accredited lab, we have the equipment to perform all of the field test required by the IAAF for commission testing. Our equipment and methods are routinely compared to other labs around the world through participation in round robin test studies. Much like FIFA©, We offer North American facilities that do not require official IAAF© certification alternatives for commission and maintenance testing.
